MYSPACE QUESTION
How do I make my headline show up in Myspace 2.0? How to show my status & mood instead of my headline?
MYSPACE ANSWER
In Myspace 2.0 you have the option to either show your headline or to show your status and mood. When you first upgrade, 2.0 automatically shows your status/mood and hides your headline. At this time you can't show both your headline plus your status and mood in 2.0. To switch between showing your mood & status or your headline, read the info below.
To show your headline in Myspace 2.0 (or to switch back to your status/mood), follow these directions:
- Login to www.myspace.com.
- Click on PROFILE in the top menu and then CUSTOMIZE PROFILE in the drop down menu.
- Scroll down to the part where you see your profile towards the bottom of your page and roll your cursor over the Basic Info Module (the wide box with your default picture, your status, your location, etc.) and when you roll over that area, a drop down gray color should show up on top of the box with two options: Settings and Edit Basic Information.
- Click on SETTINGS (the wrench/tools icon on the left).
- A box should pop up with options. There is a drop down box where you can choose to show your headline or your status/mood. You can also choose to show your full name, age, location and last login.
- When you are finished choosing your options, click Apply Changes and you will see a green notification on the box that says "SAVED". Then click the black x in the right top corner of the box to close the box. Then click Publish in the top right corner of the page and the changes should show up soon.
