How do I set my desktop wallpaper on my computer?
WALLPAPER ANSWER
To set your desktop wallpaper, find the wallpaper you want, click to download it. Once it's loaded, figure out what browser you are using to browse the internet, then follow the directions below depending which browser you are using:
Internet Explorer 8: Right click the wallpaper image and choose "Set as Background".
Mozilla/Firefox: Right click the wallpaper image and choose "Set as Desktop Background".
Safari: Right click the wallpaper image and choose "Use Image as Desktop Picture".
Google Chrome: Right click the wallpaper image and choose "Save Image As" and save the image on your desktop. Then you need to manually set the desktop image. Depending on which operating system you have, follow these directions:
- Windows 7 - To change your desktop background to the image you just downloaded, click the Start Button, click Control Panel, click appearance and Personalization, click personalization and then click desktop background. Click Browse to search for the image you just downloaded on your desktop and double click it. It will then become your desktop background.
- Windows XP - To change your desktop background to the image you just downloaded, click the Start Button, click Control Panel, click Appearance and Themes > Display (or just "Display"), click the Desktop tab and then click Browse to search for the image you just downloaded on your desktop to select it. Click apply and Ok to save your changes. It will then become your desktop background.
- Mac OSX - To change your desktop background to the image you just downloaded, click System Preferences in the bottom tool bar, then click Desktop & Screensaver, click the plus sign (+) on the bottom left and the browse box will pop up. Choose the background you just downloaded and click Choose. It will become your desktop background.
