How do I delete my Twitter Account?
TWITTER ANSWER
To delete your Twitter account, go to to www.twitter.com and sign in. Click on Settings in the top right menu and then click on Account in the top left menu. Next click on Delete My Account in the bottom left corner. This page will ask if you are sure you want to delete your account. If you do, then click on the "Ok Fine, Delete My account" link on the bottom.
Remember deleting your account is permanent, deleted accounts can not be restored. Your account may take a few days to delete and during that time it will still be accessable on Twitter.
