Facebook Timeline is the current facebook profile page that other people see when they come to your facebook page. It is not your home page where you see all your friends status updates.
Facebook Timeline allows you to add a design (called a facebook cover) to the top of your Timeline Profile page (view our unique facebook covers here) right above and behind your profile picture. It also allows you to feature specific status updates or images you have posted.
Everyone has Facebook Timeline now so there is not need to get it.
